How ridiculous is your service apple. I got app for AMC.com and did not know it requested your cable service and a whole bunch of more personal information from you. Like your Verizon account number,what amount you paid last time,your cellphone numbers. Etc,etc. I am appalled I gave all the information for your them to tell me they dont recognize my husband nor my cellphone numbers. Yet we pay that acct number every month for those respective cellphone numbers. Incredible. You should request all this information before anyone purchases an app. How do I cancel this app now I just purchase but cannot use?

This HAS to be a joke. I tried watching Fear The Walking Dead on this app, it shows "Full Episode" available. Great! Except Full Episode is NOT available. So I go to AMC.com. Nope. AMC.COM tells me its not available for streaming to iOS and to download this crap app. Its a joke, but I am NOT laughing.

The app works fine, but for some reason the volume on commercials is double what it is on the show.

Seriously? $135 for cable and then I have to STILL watch at least 5-6 of the SAME commercials FOR EVERY 10 minutes of content. And then, AND THEN, the commercials blow out my eardrums. Come on, do better!

Why is DISH not included in your list of networks?

No streaming too many ads/ easier to torrent and not bother with all the nonsense. Whoever in charge of development needs to be replaced with someone who knows about CURRENT market needs

Whenever I miss an episode of TWD or FTWD I can easily catch up using this app. Yeah, theres a lot of commercials, but f you want to get caught up on ur fav amc show really badly, this is literally perfect! & the commercials are sooo worth it!

Why do you have to activate every single time you want to watch something? Why cant it just check if the activation is still good? Super annoying to have to log in every week I want to watch a show. FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get needing ads to support the programing but so many ads is almost unbearable

I know they had a disagreement but come on. Wish I never downloaded it.

This app is garbage. Total trash. You cant use with chromecast which they say theyre fixing but you also cant watch ANYTHING. You wanna watch a movie? Cant, you get adds adds and more adds... You wanna watch the walking dead? Cant do that either you only get season 1 and 2 and even then youre only allowed to watch the last three episodes of the second season. AMC, please make your app more like HBO & FX even if you have to charge monthly like them at least then it would be worth the download and 5 stars.

So many commercials that I forgot what show I was watching. Terrible experience.

The app was working fine until it froze one day. Not the darkened icon is stuck on my screen with the word "waiting...." underneath. I cant use it, I cant delete it, and I cant reinstall it. I wish I hadnt installed it in the first place.

The app works just fine but I cant cast to my TV. I used to use AirPlay with my AppleTV but the connection would constantly drop when commercials would come on. Please provide a quality implementation of these casting features!

Its been so long since Ive watched anything that wasnt pre-recorded that I was initially annoyed by the inescapable commercials... but they are not quite so bad as the consensus seems to imply. The breaks only seem to be about 2 min long with 4-5 mini-commercials that fill that time. Whats irritating is that it seems to be the SAME 4-5 mini-commercials over and over again. Whats far more annoying is the lack of any kind of playback controls other than to pause. No rewind to skip back and obviously no way to skip ahead (otherwise the commercials wouldnt be a problem)... which makes me want to ensure I never miss another broadcast recording. As far as being watchable or not goes... yes, it would be much nicer if you could cast it to watch it on a regular TV instead of a mobile screen, but I must say that the playback was very steady, clean and rather high-quality. I just spent about three hours catching up on one missed episode of FtWD & its associated Talking Dead... and a bunch of bonus/extra stuff I hadnt caught. Is it worth putting up with the annoyances to watch missed episodes? Yeah, it is. Is it worth using to watch the little bonus scenes & extras? Absolutely, because those generally dont have commercial interruptions - those seem to be saved for full episodes. Does it make me want to take extra care to make sure I record episodes when they first air? You betcha! Do I want to use it routinely? Not really... but its better than missing episodes altogether... if only marginally. It is definitely better than some of the other streaming video apps Ive used (like, for instance, the STARZ app, which was truly bad enough to make me want to drop STARZ).
